Day

I went shopping today and bought myself a 3 piece luggage set. I needed one because I'm going home on friday. There was no way I was going to be able to pack everything I needed for a month in that one suitcase I own. I can't wait to get home and actually feel like Christmas is coming. I mean our suite is decorated and I play Christmas music like 24/7 but there isn't that warm feeling inside from having Christmas with your family. My father has already put up his tree but at least I'll be able to participate in my mother's Christmas tree decorating. I bought another present for my father today, it's a book called Habs Heroes - 100 Greatest Canadiens Ever. I'm pretty sure he'll love it.

I also got a photo I needed to get developped for one of my classes which is good because it's due tomorrow. I haven't started it and don't plan on starting it until tomorrow morning. Tomorrow I will be doing major laundry and packing for my departure friday morning. I think I'll have two loads to do which isn't that bad. I also need to clean my room a little, throw out anything in my mini-fridge that could rot and start to smell bad after a month and take out my garbage. I'm not going to be the last one out of the suite so I don't have to worry about anything else that needs to be done in the living room/common area which is good.

Well goodbye for now,
Jess

"At the end of the day, you were smart to wait."

Last night I watched Jim Carrey's version of The Grinch with my rooommate. I forgot how much I had loved that movie. I think one year I had watched it over and over and over again for some reason. This year I didn't feel like I needed to watch it over and over.

It's saturday and I have accomplished absolutely nothing. I'm half way through the first season of POPULAR and it's so good. Just watched the episode where Brooke and Josh have sex for the first time.

I'm going to leave you with that.

First

I've had many blogs before but never stuck to them. I suppose I'm just writing this blog to remember a few memories I might have along the way.

It's the weekend before the Christmas break. I can't wait to get home. I can't wait to decorate, watch Christmas specials with my siblings, put up the tree. Oh - in case you didn't know, the reason I'm not home is because I'm in college. I'm sitting in my room in a suite with 5 other girls. It's not that bad. It could be better but it could also be a lot worse. Next week is the last week of first semester. I can't believe it's already gone. 3 months went by so fast. Despite the fact that I miss my family, I like it here. I don't have to work (except for homework), I get to hang out with friends and if I feel like it, just sit around and watch television for hours.

I'm watching the first season of POPULAR. I ordered both seasons on Amazon. It's a great show, a bit silly but that's the point. It's friday.

Jess.
